Our 13 Weeks Pilates program will consist of the following sessions:
Week 0: Full Body Assessment If you're interested in joining our 13 Weeks Pilates Program, you must first book for your free Full Body Assessment with a free trial. The Full Body Assessment is both "free of charge" as well as "obligation free". It will only take 1 hour with our qualified Physios & Exercise Physiologist.
Our Full Body Assessment allows our Physios and EP's to collect musculoskeletal data about you, identify possible areas of weaknesses and potential injury. These findings enable our professionals from developing your very own tailored program. Once this is completed, a free trial for a few minutes will be provided. This gives you the chance to experience what your Pilates with MD Health is all about.
After the free trial, our Physios and EP's will recommend what levels of our Pilates program you should start with. Our Pilates program comes in 5 levels, from Level 1 Beginners up to Level 5 Advanced.
Week 7 - Reassessment In addition to your usual 2 half hour Pilates sessions, you will be prompted by both our Physios/EP's to book for your Re-assessment. During your re-assessment, everything will be re-measured. Similar to the Full Body Assessment, the re-assessment will provide our professionals with new data about your body's progress. A print out of your report is provided after each re-assessment. A new tailored program will also be developed for Week 8 until Week 13.
Our Physios and Exercise Physiologists (EPs) will also recommend if you're ready to join the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training Program). A free HIIT assessment and free trial is available for booking at Reception.
Week 13 - Reassessment Our Physios/EPs will be prompting you again to book for your Week 13 Re-assessment. If you decide to continue on with your program, the outcome of these re-assessments will form the basis of your tailored program for the next 7 weeks.
Members at this stage are no longer locked into another 13 week program. You many continue on a week by week basis so long as you're able to come in twice per week.
