Posture is the first thing that people will notice after just a few weeks of Pilates with MD Health. Posture or lack of posture can affect major joints in our body. Common complaint due to bad posture are neck pain, head aches, upper and lower back pain, tennis elbow, SIJ pain, hip pain, knee pain and ankle pain.
Bad posture doesn't happen overnight. Due to the lack of strength in several major joints in our body, bad posture occurs over time. If not addressed, it may affect your confidence level as it affects the contours of your body. By strengthening your core stabilising muscles in your shoulders, lower back, hips, knees and ankle your posture will improve simultaneously. Sometimes, the simple improvement of your posture allows you to see the real shape of your body - a transformation in itself!
